Understand Your Health. Simplify Your Wellness.
Helping you better understand your body through nutrition education, wellness coaching, and easy-to-understand health analogies. Whether you're navigating blood sugar concerns, digestive issues, thyroid health, menopause, supplements, or simply trying to make healthier choices, I'm here to help you feel informed, confident, and empowered.
We provide nutrition education and lifestyle support. We do not diagnose, treat, or cure medical conditions. Always consult your physician.
Doctors and nurses often don't have the time to explain what your blood panel means, what your medication is actually doing, or why certain things are happening. We are the bridge.
We walk you through your blood panel marker by marker β kidney function, liver stress, blood sugar patterns β in language that actually makes sense.
Most people take their medication without knowing its mechanism. We explain the why behind every prescription.
Together, we design a specific, attainable plan built around your goals, lifestyle, and starting point.
"Education is what we are lacking. Most people are told what they have and what they need to take β but no one explains what's going on in the body, why it's happening, and how we can support change."

Hello and welcome! I'm Jennie Phui, a Certified Holistic Nutrition Coach, Health Educator, Licensed Dental Hygienist, Licensed Dental Hygienist in Alternative Practice, Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist, entrepreneur, an inventor and lifelong learner.
My passion for health began with my love of nature. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Botany and Plant Sciences, where I became fascinated by the remarkable ways plants survive, adapt, heal, and thrive. Studying plant biology helped me appreciate the incredible parallels between nature and the human bodyβlessons that continue to influence my approach to wellness today.
Throughout my career, I have worked in many areas of healthcare and education. As a dental hygienist and health educator, I developed a deep appreciation for the connection between oral health and overall wellness. I have also had the opportunity to lecture on health-related topics and help others understand how different body systems work together.
One of my greatest joys is helping people understand complex health concepts through simple analogies and real-world examples. Many people leave medical appointments feeling overwhelmed or confused. My goal is to bridge that gap by translating complicated health information into practical, easy-to-understand concepts that empower individuals to make informed decisions about their health.
Outside of my professional work, I enjoy spending time in nature, feeding squirrels, gardening, mountain biking, and caring for plants and animals. I have always found inspiration in the natural world and believe there is much we can learn from nature's ability to create balance, resilience, and renewal.
I am also an entrepreneur at heart. Over the years, I have started several small businesses β experiences that taught me perseverance, creativity, adaptability, and the importance of lifelong learning. These experiences have shaped both my professional and personal philosophy: growth happens one small step at a time.
My approach to wellness is centered around three guiding principles:
Simplicity β’ Practicality β’ Attainability
I believe lasting change comes from realistic habits that fit into everyday life. Rather than pursuing perfection, I focus on helping clients create sustainable routines that support long-term health and well-being.
At A1C Rewind Labβ’, my mission is to educate, empower, and inspire individuals to better understand their bodies through knowledge, practical guidance, and compassionate support.
I believe that when people understand how their bodies work, they feel more confident, more empowered, and more capable of making positive changes that last a lifetime.

Jay was 73 years old, managing 14 medications, and living with an A1C of 9.4% β well into diabetic range. He had been waiting five years for knee surgery, repeatedly told his blood sugar was too high to safely operate.
We worked alongside Jay's physician to introduce a targeted regimen of medicinal plant-based supplements β nothing that conflicted with his medications. Just giving his body the nutrients it had been depleted of for years.
His A1C came down to 7.1%. His surgeon cleared him for surgery. Jay healed faster than patients half his age. That's what restoring the body looks like.
Jay, age 73, had been waiting five years for knee surgery because his A1C remained too high at 9.4%.
After reviewing his laboratory results, nutrition, medications, and lifestyle habits, we focused on simple, practical changes. Working alongside his physician's care, Jay improved his food choices and incorporated carefully selected vitamins and supplements approved by his healthcare team.
This was not an overnight transformation.
Because Jay's blood sugar had been elevated for many years, it took approximately one year of consistency, patience, and dedication before his health improvements were reflected in his laboratory results.
Over time, his A1C improved from 9.4% to 7.1%, allowing him to finally be cleared for surgery. His procedure was a success, and his surgical team commented that his healing exceeded expectations for someone his age.
πΈ Jay's story reminds us that healing is a process. There are rarely quick fixes. Meaningful results often come from small, consistent choices repeated over time.
Simplicity β’ Practicality β’ Attainability
Important: Every person's health journey is different. Results vary based on medical conditions, medications, lifestyle habits, and individual circumstances. Wellness improvements often take monthsβnot daysβand require consistency, patience, and partnership with your healthcare team.
Understanding Your Body Through Simple Analogies
At A1C Rewind Labβ’, I believe health should be easy to understand. One of my favorite ways to explain the body is to imagine it as an entire country.
Imagine your body as the United States.
When one department struggles, the entire country feels the impact.
Just like a real country, your body requires constant maintenance, repair, and rebuilding. Over time, stress, poor sleep, aging, illness, environmental toxins, and poor nutrition create wear and tear. Roads begin to crack. Factories become less efficient. Communication systems slow down. Repairs are needed.
Food provides the workers with their daily meals. Vitamins, minerals, and medicinal plant supplements provide the construction materials, tools, repair crews, and replacement parts needed to maintain and rebuild the country. Think of them as:
Lumber
For rebuilding structures
Concrete
For repairing roads
Electrical Wiring
For communication systems
Protective Coatings
That help prevent damage
Repair Teams
Keeping everything running smoothly
Without adequate nutrients, the body has fewer resources available to support its natural repair and maintenance processes.
Repair β’ Restore β’ Rebalance β Naturally
The goal of vitamins and supplements is not to replace a healthy diet. The goal is to help provide the body with the nutritional building blocks it needs to function at its best. When combined with healthy food, quality sleep, movement, stress management, and proper medical care, vitamins and medicinal plant supplements can be valuable tools in supporting overall wellness.
My passion is helping people understand these concepts in a simple, practical, and attainable way β so they can make informed decisions about their health and feel empowered on their wellness journey.
All supplements provided for physician review before use. Guidance is educational and wellness-focused.
GLP-1 medications can be powerful tools β but most people are never told what they need to do alongside them to stay safe.
Drugs like Ozempic work by slowing digestion and limiting sugar absorption. Your body isn't getting energy from food, so it looks elsewhere β and that's where it gets complicated.
Muscle tissue is the primary consumer of blood sugar. Without exercise, your body breaks down muscle β not fat β for energy, causing atrophy. Your heart and organs are also muscle tissue.
Without exercise on GLP-1s, people often develop "skinny fat" β low weight but dangerous fat-to-muscle ratio that accelerates organ stress over time.
Imagine your body is a building under renovation. GLP-1 medication is like shutting off the water supply β it slows things down. But if the construction crew (your muscles) has nothing to work with, they start dismantling the building itself for parts.
You need active workers, proper materials, and a good foreman. That's what exercise, nutrition education, and the right supplements provide β so the medication can do its job without the body paying a hidden cost.
"Health doesn't have to be complicated. Sometimes all it takes is the right analogy to finally understand what's happening inside your body." πΈ
Educational content only. All medication decisions should be made with your physician.
Every client starts the same way β with a real conversation about where you are and where you want to go.
1-hour Zoom consultation to discuss your health history, medications, lifestyle, nutrition, and goals.
Review your lab results to establish a starting point and identify areas for improvement.
Receive a wellness plan tailored to your goals, lifestyle, and lab results.
Regular bi-weekly check-ins, education, guidance, and encouragement to help keep you on track.
After about six months, we'll compare your new blood work to your starting results so you can see how your body has responded and celebrate your progress.
Every supplement Jennie recommends is provided in written form for your physician to review. As one client's doctor put it: "We've tried everything else. Why not give the body what it needs to respond better?"
Understand your A1C
Understand your glucose patterns
Understand your energy levels
Understand your eating patterns
Understand your lifestyle habits
Understand your options
Support your next step
Jennie helps you understand nutrition and lifestyle factors that may influence these numbers. Lab interpretation and medical decisions should be made with your healthcare provider.
Ask a QuestionA1C measures your average blood sugar over about 3 months β a general marker of blood sugar patterns discussed with your healthcare provider.
Nutrition choices, movement, sleep, and stress all play a role in supporting insulin sensitivity as part of overall metabolic health.
A diverse, fiber-rich diet may help slow glucose conversion and support more stable post-meal blood sugar patterns.
Understanding glycemic load helps you make more informed daily food choices and avoid common hidden spikes.
Cortisol and poor sleep can both affect blood sugar patterns β lifestyle habits that support metabolic wellness alongside good nutrition.

"What makes this experience different is how easy everything was to understand. The simple analogies helped me finally connect the dots and understand what was actually happening inside my body. Instead of feeling overwhelmed by lab numbers and medical terms, I left feeling informed, empowered, and confident about my health. For the first time, everything just made sense."
"Wow, I can't believe how much I understand about my health now. For years, I would leave doctor's appointments confused and overwhelmed. I often had questions but was too embarrassed to ask because I didn't want to sound uninformed. Everything was explained in a simple, easy-to-understand way using real-life examples and analogies that finally made things click. For the first time, I understand what's happening inside my body, why my lab numbers matter, and what I can do to improve my health. I feel empowered, confident, and much more in control of my wellness journey."
"I'd tried so many things before. What made Jennie different was the education β she helped me build habits that actually stick. My doctor was happy with my progress, and honestly so am I."
"One of the biggest things I learned is that the body cannot repair itself without the proper building materials. Jennie helped me understand that vitamins, minerals, and nutrients are not just supplementsβthey are the tools the body uses to repair, restore, rebuild, and function at its best. No one had ever explained health in such a simple and understandable way. I finally feel like I understand how to take care of my body."
